On 3 September, the EMS Entrepreneurship Initiative arrived at Bana Ba Thari Special School, bringing together circuits from Lebopo, Mamabolo, Mankweng, Dimamo, and Kgakatlou for a day that raised the bar for the entire programme.

If earlier legs of the initiative showed promise, this one showed just how far that promise has grown — the competition this year was noticeably tougher, and every school that took part rose to meet it.

Mothibi Primary School's Fruit Sticks business was another highlight of the day.

Taking a simple, healthy concept and turning it into a polished product takes more thought than it might seem, and this team clearly understood their market.

Their execution was clean, their concept was smart, and their presentation left a strong impression on everyone watching.
